Sometimes you need a little light

Sometimes size counts, but in reverse and you need a little close-to-the-ceiling light to provide light and a little ambience, but stay out of the way and unobtrusive. Little lights should be low profile in height and diameter and attractive. Flush mounts can work and certainly semi-flushes if they are not too big. My wife always likes semi-flushes because they provide more light. My son-in-law, who is 6' 7" tall, likes flush mounts because they are closer to the ceiling.
